Admission

• Application Requirements

  The application process takes up to 10 business days to process and all documents must be received by the closing deadline.

  Please note: All documents must be uploaded in your College Status Portal.

  • Student must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program
  • Student must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Letter of Recommendation from a current or recent professor 
  • Letter of good academic standing from your current university/college
  • Official college transcript(s) from all undergraduate institutions attended
  • Statement of Purpose-300 words

  
  

  International Applicants are required to upload the following additional documents to your College Status Portal:

  • All students whose native language is not English are required to submit their official TOEFL or IELTS scores
  • Copy of the ID page of your passport
  • A copy of your student visa and I-20 if you are already studying in the U.S.
  • A copy of your F-1 student visa is required for non-U.S. citizens. 
  • Bank Sponsorship Letter- if you require a student visa

  • Apply Now
  • Select the non-degree online application
  • Pay the $75 nonrefundable application fee
  • Upload supplemental documents in your College Status Portal

   

• Register and Search for Classes

  Once you receive an email that your application was approved, proceed with the following steps below:

  • Review and follow the CaneLink: Registration Guide
  • Search and select your classes
  • Fill out and submit a Course Request Form to miamisemester@miami.edu

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Once all supplemental documents have been received, consider that additional materials, such as design portfolios may require additional processing time. Notification of admission will be provided
